I moved to the United States from Mexico. I spent 25 years working on the thoroughbred racetracks across America. Traveling with the thoroughbreds gave me an extensive knowledge of how to care for sick or injured horses. After 25 years on the racetracks, I decided to see what else the horse world had to offer.
have been working for the Capella's for a year and have found my home on the farm. I am proud to say that I am the head groom on the property and I oversee four full-time grooms, 50 horses, and 30 acres. I am responsible for maintaining the horses’ feed, turnout, grooming, and any administration of medications. I have spent many years with horses and have never worked at a farm where the facility was so horse-friendly. I have a great respect for these animals, as do the Capella's, and I treat each and every one as if they were my own.
